Judgement

20Judgement20

This path, from Malkuth to Hod, is represented by the Hebrew Shin (ש‎‎) meaning tooth. It's imagery is striking, albeit a bit cryptic. No this is not the clarion call of judgement of Revelations, this is a wake up call for the person who views and meditates on this image. It is a measure of intellect. Think of shibboleth, that English term that gets it's name from a battle between the Ephraimites and Gileadites. The Ephraimites could not differentiate between Shin and Samekh. Thus they said sibboleth instead of shibboleth and were destroyed. When we try to emulate and embody this key we are testing out own knowledge against what we know inside. This of course requires some emotional intelligence, and thus the path mirrors it's opposite the Moon.

Personally, I have been a party to the call of Michael the archangel blowing the trumpet in this image. Awaking the parts of me that were sleeping, cause shifts in the way I approach life. The musical key of this path is C Natural - in my most intense meditation of this card I was paralyzed by this sound. The drone of the trumpet became a spiral that continued on forever, and I was a object joyously stuck in that vibrational force.

Today, I have a test. You have a test. Can you pronounce the word right? Or do you die and get resurrected by your ignorance into fullness?
